Update!!!

I know I've been ignoring my blog for a while now so since I have time I decided to blog... To be honest we haven't really done much... A lot of working, working and working... not very fun but hey I'm not complaining... We will work as much as we can while we can... lol...
This year was my first year of celebrating the 4th of July as a United States Citizen... This has always been a special holiday for me because I know we live in the greatest country in the world, but being a citizen this year made it a little more special... Tom and I went to a baseball game(whats more "American" than a baseball game) San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers... It was a very nice day in SD, but the sun was out full force, and Tom and I got a lil sunburned lol... We got these cool "BEAT LA" towels... The game didn't start to good cause Manny Ramirez hit a homerun on his first at bat, but the Padres got it together and won the game 7-4... it was very exciting and chanting and waving out towels to a BEAT L A... There was this cute old couple sitting next to us, the were both Mexican and bearly spoke english, they were by them selves and the cutest thing about them was that the lady was the baseball fan... She knew all of the players name and would yell at them in spanish and would get up and scream and chant "BEE L A" lol yea bee la lol and the husband was reading his mexican news paper... lol it was so funny and cute... AHHH I love baseball hahahahaha... After the game we headed to Seaworld... never going back on a holiday hahahaha... but it was fun... watched the fireworks, I love fireworks especially cause they have patriotic songs to go with them... it give me goose bumps singing along to them and watching the lights in the sky... We left the park at around 10:30pm and waited in our car... and waited... and waited... we took a nap... lol the traffic was CRAZY and we didnt get out of there till 12:30... lol... there were a lot of people in the parking lot that couldn't find their cars... it was a lil funny...
It was a fun 4th of July... I hope you all had a great time...

This is Manny Ramirez secoonds before he hit his first homerun after serving his 50 game suspension...

Rounding second base

and home...

April 22nd!

April 22, 2009 I became a United States Citizen... Something I've been working on since I was old enough to realize what that meant... If you've never gone to an Oath Ceremony I really recommend it! It makes you realize how great and diverse this country is... There were 3,499 of us becoming citizens that day! It was a beutiful sunny day, everything went perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better... I want to thank all of the people that were able to make it there... Tom, Tito, Mema, Abuelita, Tio Miguel, Tia Bony, Liz, Gabba Gabba, Brian, Meli, Eliz, Maddie, Laura and last but not least Chris... I love you guys ur awsome... lol I also want to thank all those that couldn't make it... You guys are awsome too... Thank you all for your support and for helping me study... This was one of the best days... I've had a lot but this was up there on the best ones lol... I am veru proud to be an American!

(Missing in this pic were Abuelita, Tia Bony and Meli and Maddie)

Today is World Autism Awareness Day.
Did you know…
*Autism affects as many as 1 in 150 children and 1 in 94 boys
*Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the world
*More children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with diabetes, cancer, & AIDS combined
*Boys are four times more likely than girls to have autism
*There is no medical detection or cure for autism, but early diagnosis and intervention improve outcomes
*Autism does not discriminate by geography, class, or ethnicity

update

Sorry I haven't been blogging... I must admit that I blame Mrs. Smith a.k.a Tia Bony because she got me addicted to facebook so I've been doing that lol...
I do have exciting news... If you hadn't heard my Oath ceremony will be on April 22nd at 12:30 pm in the Pomona Fairplex... I got the letter last Sat the 28th and I couldn't stop smiling... I'm beyond excited and can't wait..
Also after my various visits to the Dr. I am hoping everything is ok with me now... lol and the reason I say various is cause I had been there every two weeks for the past 7 weeks lol so I'm trying not to make it there in the next week lol... I've been trying to control my depression/stress/sillystupidstuffthatshouldn'tworryme lol... so yeah I've been feeling good and ready to go...
As we continue to try having kids, and with everything thats been happening with my Dr.'s visits I have realized that I should be enjoying "single" life... and by single I mean life without kids (not that we do things we can't do with kids) but just spending time together alone getting to know the father of my future children just time to ourselves, time I know won't come as easy when we do have kids... I'm trying to look at my life from a different point of view... trying to see the up side of things instead of always the down... Has it been hard? HECK YEAH! If you know me you will understand... lol and yeah its taken me a lil over 5yrs to realize this but I'm glad I see it now lol...
So for now... accept life for what it is and how it comes and enjoy it...
SO yeah thats that... all in a nutshell...

Hiking with Eliz

On Wednesday Liz had a doctor's appointment and I asked her if it would be ok if I took Eliz hiking with me while they were at the doctor... Eliz didn't want to stay with me but when I told her that we were going to go hiking she got excited... (by the way she calls hiking "hanking panking" it sounds so hilarious when she says it lol)
I told her I was going to take her a long time ago but for one reason or another had gotten the chance...
Well after exchanging her shoes(they were brand new and they didn't fit her anymore) and having lunch we were off...
She had a really good time and she didn't stop talking the whole time, she was scared of some bugs and would tell me to kill them and she saw lizards and would run away but she eventually just walked around them lol... We walked for about an hr and she wanted to keep going... Tia Karen couldn't keep going lol... She looked so professional with her hiking stick, water bottle and back pack...

We had a really good time and we are going to try to go again soon!
Thanks Eliz you are an awsome hiking partner...

At the ER

So I've been feeling a lil sick and I called the nurse for advice on what to do and after telling her my symptoms she recomended I go to the ER... So there I am waiting for the Dr. Had blood test, EKG, X-ray and CAT Scan... waited 6 hrs and they found nothing. My heart is good, I'm glad they didn't find anything wrong but I not glad the didn't find anything wrong because I still don't know whats wrong lol... I will be going to see my Dr. this week so we will see what he tells me...
You hear interesting stories in the ER thats for sure, thats the only thing that kept us entertained... lol..
